France offers a rich and wide ranging selection of Free Admission Attractions. From the magnificent capital of Paris with its wealth of free art collections, museums and historic buildings, to the tranquil vineyards of Burgundy with its wine cellars where visitors can sample free local produce.
From the Cathar Castles of Lanquedoc, to Normandy's War Memorials and the famous ceramics and liqueurs of the Limousin there are hundreds of free admission attractions throughout the different departments of France to be discovered.
You can relax in beautiful gardens, view breathtaking scenery, take advantage of the local markets for fresh regional produce, or pop into many of the attractions that offer free wine and food tasting, from regional wines and France's famous Champagne and cheeses.

Italy offers hundreds of interesting and unusual free things to see and do.

It is also free admission at all times to state and municipal museums to EU Citizens under 18 or over 65. Two other dates of interest are Culture Week (Annually) when all state museums and sites such as archaeological sites, monuments, galleries and places not normally open to the public have free admission, and "La Notte dei Musei" or Night of the Museum (Annually) when state museums open until 01.00am for free and have special events too.
