First built in 1887 the building was destroyed by fire in 1908 and devastated by bombs in 1972. The restored building contains replicas of the original stained glass windows and an enormous organ with over 3000 pipes. The hall is haunted by San Mackay.

An Elizabethan Revival style house that belongs to the Hamilton family who were once the owners of all the land around Bangor. The estate also includes 2 parks in the 129 acres of grounds. Castle Park and Ward Park.

Built in 1771 and named after its founder Richard Robinson was the first public library outside Dublin. Inside the library is a superb collection of antiquities including, ancient manuscripts, a facsimile of the Book Of Armagh.

Designed in 1906 the 173 ft green copper dome can be seen from any point in the city. Grand marble staircase, 3 elaborate reception rooms and portraits of the City’s Lord Mayors. Outside is Queen Victoria’s Statue, and comemorative Titanic sculpture.

Original buildings of Queens College designed by Charles Lanyon consisted of the Main Building and the peaceful quadrangle behind. Today the University has expanded to include all the houses on University Square. Visitors Centre sells University memorabilia.
